Founded in 1999, Photon-X is dedicated to reinventing the way light is captured for the purpose of rendering and producing higher quality 3D images. Through years of research and development through work with government and business contracts, Photon-X created the incredible Spatial Phase Image (SPI) Sensor; a new way to capture 3D images.

Our mission at Photon-X is to continue creating new ways and technologies to harness light and innovate that technology for applications in 3D image generating biometric verification, document security, CGI motion imaging, and photo mapping. Today, with technology centers in Florida, California, and Washington, DC, Photon-X continues to provide top 3D image capturing capabilities to multiple industries including Advertising, Medical, Media, Defense, Energy, Robotics, and more. SPI Sensors capture and measure moving or stationary objects from long distances. Applications include measuring microscopic crystals, human face or body characteristics, vehicles, buildings, terrain feature measurements of several kilometer area.
